Today I've announced what I think is an exciting new training opportunity in broadcast journalism.
It sees me team up with the international broadcast news agency, Feature Story News.
Our joint venture, The Broadcast Journalism Weekender offers a pretty unique proposition to students and trainees and also exisiting journalists wanting to learn or develop skills in TV and / or radio.
I think it is unique because:
* The weekend is rooted in 'real life'. We want participants to walk away with tangible benefits.
* Everyone will produce content for their demo.
* Everyone will get feedback on their CV.
* Everyone will get advice on marketing themselves.
Uniquely we also bring experience of multi-media broadcast journalism from not only the UK but internationally too. My fellow trainer, Olly Barratt has been a Washington correspondent and now counts many international broadcasters as clients.
The weekender will be based at FSN's Central London headquarters.
So, if you know someone who you think would benefit from a weekend of training, hands on experience, coaching and meeting new peers, please pass on the website details.
